Women and Work - New Rules: A Conversation with Anne Litwin

This is the 25th video produced in the ‘Just in Case…’ mini-series sponsored by Quality and Equality. In this video we are joined by Anne Litwin, a consultant to organizations, an executive coach, a researcher and author for more than 30 years in the USA and internationally. Dr. Litwin is the author of the book, New Rules for Women: Revolutionizing the Way Women Work Together and co-editor of the book, Managing in the Age of Change, along with numerous articles on organization development, gender differences and women’s leadership.  Anne received a Masters in Community Psychology from Marist College and completed my Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University. Today, Anne shares details from her research about important new concepts in understanding the subtle, often invisible, gender dynamics that influence women's workplace relationships. She also covers concepts which she has encounter through her years of coaching and consulting such as “The Imposter Phenomenon” and “Being an Only” which further offer insight into how organizations can create a truly collaborative and shared workspace.

Biography

Dr. Anne Litwin has been a consultant to organizations, an executive coach, a researcher and author for more than 30 years in the USA and internationally.  Anne has a passion for unleashing the leadership potential of women in organizations and helping organizations groom their talented women as future leaders. She feels that one key to increasing the retention of talented women is to strengthen the ability of both female and male managers to create supportive environments where both female and male staff can flourish. 

Dr. Litwin is the author of the book, New Rules for Women: Revolutionizing the Way Women Work Together and co-editor of the book, Managing in the Age of Change, along with numerous articles on organization development, gender differences and women’s leadership. She publishes a weekly blog on gender issues in the workplace at www.annelitwin.com
