In this video we are joined by Peter Block, a pioneer in the field of OD whose book, Flawless Consulting, continues to be a cornerstone of wisdom for all practitioners. He has also published Stewardship, The Answer to How Is Yes, Community, The Abundant Community, and An Other Kingdom. His work is in the restoration of the common good and creating a world that reclaims our humanity from the onslaught of modernism. Peter is interviewed by Mary Ann Rainey, a well-known and experienced scholar, educator and practitioner in OD and Gestalt who co-chairs the International Gestalt Organization & Leadership Development (iGOLD) Program. She also has taught leadership and management at Yale University, Loyola University Chicago, and Case Western Reserve University. Peter Block Biography
Peter Block is an author and citizen of Cincinnati, Ohio. He is partner in Designed Learning, a training company that offers workshops designed to build the skills outlined in his books. His books include Flawless Consulting, Stewardship, The Answer to How Is Yes, Community, The Abundant Community, and An Other Kingdom. Peter is a founder of the Common Good Collective, is part of the Economics of Compassion Initiative of Greater Cincinnati and is a member of his local neighborhood council. He serves on the board LivePerson, a provider of online engagement solutions. His work is in the restoration of the common good and creating a world that reclaims our humanity from the onslaught of modernism.

Mary Ann Rainey Biography
Holistic perspectives guide all aspects of Mary Ann’s work. Her leadership experience includes corporate Vice President and Vice City Manager. She co-chairs the International Gestalt Organization & Leadership Development (iGOLD) Program and has taught leadership and management at Yale University, Loyola University Chicago, and Case Western Reserve University. Additional teaching includes Benedictine University and NTL’s Organization Development Programs in Singapore, India, Japan, the USA and Oxford, England where she served as Programme Dean. Her most recent publication is Gestalt Practice: Living and Working in Pursuit of wHolism (2019). Mary Ann lives in Chicago, Illinois.
