The Future: A Conversation with Glenda Eoyang

This is the 16th video produced in the ‘Just in Case…’ mini-series sponsored by Quality and Equality. In this video, the third one from Glenda Eoyang, a lead thinker in the world of complexity science, speaks to us about the foundational patterns identified by the HSD community about the future, some ways those patterns may play out, and what that might mean for the practice of OD and clients going forward. The three questions we asked her are:

  1. What are the fundamental patterns for the future?

  2. What patterns will emerge in the future?

  3. How will OD evolve to meet these challenges?

This 23-minute video if filled with evocative questions and conversation about the future for yourself and your colleagues to discuss as a way to reflect on your current practice of OD, and the growth you desire. This video may offer a way of doing futuring for organisations to experiment with.
