Just In Case…
A YOUTUBE Video Mini-Series
Background to the Video Series:
Q&E would like to introduce to you a mini-series for OD Practitioners and clients. The series is called JUST IN CASE, inviting you to watch just in case you need to be reminded of… just in case you do not know… just in case you want to refresh your memory… just in case you want to know a topic better… etc. Some of the videos will be lecturette, some will be a pair dialogue, and others will be responses to an interviewer. There is no specific theme to the series except that they are set up mainly for “low key” continuous development of Organisation Development Practitioners. The group that motivated me to do the series is the NTL European Organisation Development Certificate graduates, the NTL Alumni Association, a vibrant group and eager to grow and learn.
Some ways to use the Video:
These videos can be for individual viewing, but may I suggest two ways to get the best use out of them, if the subject of the video is appealing:
You can get together with a few colleagues within your organisation, watch the whole video or a specific section, then have a discussion group on WHAT? (what stands out for me? What interest me?), SO WHAT? (the implication of the key points to what we are doing?), and possible NOW WHAT? (what may we consider doing or practicing?... etc.).
You can use specific sections of the YouTube videos to work with your clients – to start discussions with them, or to ask them to apply what they have heard to what they are doing… etc., or you can build development programmes using segments of the video to help explain or illustrate something.
Beyond the two approaches above, it would be helpful for us know the various creative ways these videos are being used. If you can afford the time, please drop us a note at info@quality-equality.com
