Relevance, History, and Strategies for Effectiveness with Groups: A Conversation with Mary Ann Rainey

In this video we are joined by Mary Ann Rainey, an international organization development consultant with a global client base who leverages holistic perspectives to improve organizational and leadership effectiveness. Her leadership experience includes Vice City Manager and corporate Vice President. She co-chairs the International Gestalt Organization & Leadership Development (iGOLD) Program and served as dean of the NTL Institute’s Global Organization Development (OD) program in Oxford, England and teaches in NTL OD programs worldwide. For nearly a decade, Mary Ann has taught in the Strategic Agility and Innovation Program sponsored by Yale University School of Management and Yale New Haven Hospital. Other teaching includes adjunct professor in the Executive MBA Program at Loyola University, Chicago. Her book, “Gestalt Practice: Living and Working in Pursuit of wHolism”, was published in 2019.
Today, Mary Ann shares her vast knowledge about groups today, their relevance, history, what a group is by definition. She goes further to share strategies on how practitioners can work with groups more effectively.
